Frequently asked questions
how long will it take to see results?
The answer to this one depends on you, your starting point and your goal. I usually recommend giving personal training a minimum of 3 months, but this may be shorter or longer for you and your goals. What I can tell you, is you get out what you put in. Give this 100% and you’ll reap the rewards.
do i need a personal trainer?
I don’t doubt that you could eventually figure it out yourself, but with so much conflicting information on the internet, it’s hard to know where to start. Save yourself the bother and the time, hire someone who has done what you want to do and helped others do the same.
do i have to give up my social life?
A common misconception is that you have to give up everything you enjoy in life in order to get results. Much like the last question, this does depend on your goal, but for most people having a few drinks at the weekend or the odd meal out shouldn’t be out of the question. I want your results to be sustainable in the long term so this means being realistic, including foods (and drinks) which you enjoy.
I’m not sure if I have the time…
I’m yet to work with a client who doesn’t have the time, we all do. It’s a matter of priorities. If you make your health and fitness a priority then you will find the time. Your sessions will only take up a few hours of your week, and preparing food actually saves more time than it takes! Most clients end up being even more productive when they start working with me, and this carries over into their own work and buisness’.
what if it doesn’t work for me?
Many people don’t believe they can get the results they desire. Anyone can change their life. Whether you’re 50 or 20 underweight or overweight, no matter your background, with my help you will not only reach your goals but achieve results you never thought were possible. All you have to do is follow the plan and structure that I put in place.
my friend lost 1 stone in a week on a juice diet…
Fad diets are unsustainable, whilst cutting out all of the foods you enjoy and living under restrictions may quickly drop your scale weight this is mostly down to water loss due to a lack of carbs. The fact is most people who do these fad diets end up regaining all of the weight, and more! Are you going to live off of meal replacement shakes for the rest of your life? Or do you want to learn how you can achieve and maintain results eating the foods you enjoy!
